We live in the Staffordshire/Midlands area where the public water supply is quite heavily artificially fluoridated and anyone who has done their own research into this toxic waste and bio-hazardous chemical will know that it ain't good! If you are able to examine the subject independently without allowing your own initial beliefs on the matter to cloud your judgement, there is only one realisation in our opinion. It needs to be taken out of the water and Mick and I have been to several council meetings along with many other local, concerned residents in our area regarding this very subject to ask the council to remove it from our water. One councilor in particular has been tirelessly fighting this same battle for years alone now with growing support. He finally managed to get the the matter to a scrutiny meeting so that the case could be heard but it was quite clear that the council already had their minds made up. The result? The 'council' decided (against public opinion and without  consent), that it was staying! Puppets on a string with only their political motivations at the fore... most of them anyway.

I drink a lot of bottled water because I want to try and avoid tap water as much as possible but even drinking from plastic bottles is flawed because of the chemicals from the plastic itself leaking into the water so it's a bit of a catch 22 situation.

But the matter with our public water supply doesn't just stop at fluoride. If we manage to have fluoride banned from our drinking water, what then about all the other poisonous toxins that remain? Toxins such as Lead, Phosphorus, Asbestos, Mercury, Barium, Arsenic, Growth Hormones, Bacteria, Viruses, Chryptosporidium, Chlamydia, Giardia Cysts and not to mention the radioactive chemicals such as Radium, Strontium 90 and Plutonium?! Did you even know that these things were present in the water supply? Luckily, there does seem to be a rather inexpensive solution to this problem which we recently were made aware of.

Yesterday someone sent us a link to a water distiller that removes 99.99% of all of the toxins mentioned above added to our water and those that end up in there through the course of the water reaching us. It produces 4 litres of pure, clear, distilled water at a time and the health benefits reported by people using these is amazing. It comes with everything needed to keep it going for 6 months and then replacements are a couple of quid for another 6 months supply. At around £150, this is a must have. We looked into the reverse osmosis systems which are considered the ultimate in removing toxins from water but at over £1000, in some cases a couple of thousand, this just isn't realistic for most people. Not only that, the maintenance costs to run these throughout the year were also very expensive.
